I am absolutely
thrilled with the performance increase I received from having my props
tuned at The Propeller Works. I had read about the Prop Scan
computerized propeller repair system in several national boating
publications. It truly is amazing technology.
My 32 foot Trojan cruised at 16 mph
at 2900 rpm's prior to having the props redone. I am now running 19
mph at the same rpm. That’s an 18.75% increase in cruise speed! I
haven't had enough hours yet to determine my fuel economy but I'm sure
it has improved also.
Amazingly, prior to having this work
done, I thought that I had no problem with my props. I thought I might
need help with them, however, since I couldn't get the speed at cruise
that was published in my manual. I now exceed the manual's speed
specifications even though the boat is 20 years old.
The staff at The Propeller Works was
very informative and walked me completely through the repair process,
which was very comforting. I would recommend them to anyone and
already have.
Carl E. Dalton, MV Elizabeth Ellen
After noticing vibration from my
port prop, I called The Propeller Works. Their computer analysis
showed each one of my props was doing something different. They
adjusted them and on my recent annual trip from Astoria to Neah Bay,
my speed increased by 2 knots and I had 22 gallons more fuel in my
tanks than I did on the same trip last year. My boat has never run so
well!
Brad Lowe, MV Joy Ride II
As a builder of high performance
racecars, I was amazed at the performance and fuel efficiency of my
boat after The Propeller Works tuned my props. It used to plane at
3000 to 3050 RPM. It now planes at 2900 RPM! I am also surprised by
how smooth it is. It’s really sweet!
Jess Heitman, MV Sugar Crisp
The propeller tuning made
significant changes. The boat is fishing well now and I have seen a
remarkable improvement with the propeller and significant savings
in fuel costs! I sent other fishermen to you and more are
interested.
Don Aasted, FV Red Baron
Howdy,
Kyle is extremely surprised and pleased with the propeller. He
says he knows for certain that it has dropped the temp 80 degrees, and
feels it may have dropped as much as 100 degrees. He says that
while he didn't think there was noise or much vibration before,
he says it is so quiet and noise free that if he hadn't been moving he
would think the wheel had fallen off.
His father, a retired chief engineer of Crowley Maritime, was amazed
as well, having spent a couple of trips aboard the Pursuit just this
year.
We will update you as to fuel savings , which we expect to have occur.
